About Glitter Ball 2008

The Junior Committee to the Women’s Board of California Pacific Medical Center held the 2008 Glitter Ball in April benefiting Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research Center. Over 175 guests danced and dined the night away at the Fairmont Hotel while supporting this important cause. The evening shimmered late into the evening with a packed dance floor as guests enjoyed the sounds of Pop Rocks.

Glitter Ball 2008's beneficiary

The Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research Center. has been at the forefront of the neuromuscular disease research and clinical care for over 25 years. It is one of the largest and most eminent ALS clinical research centers in the United States. Their commitment to research allows them to bring potential ALS treatments quickly out of the lab and to the bedside, assuring quicker effective interventions which may slow or stop the progression of the disease. This compassionate care and concern approach encourages a greater quality of life for all those affected by the overwhelming disease, ALS, until a cure can be found.
