Celebrating Science & Soul Gala in March This annual event supports the Institute for Health & Healing's work of healing people and transforming the practice of medicine. In 2008, we honor a great leader in the field of mind-body medicine, Deepak Chopra, MD. We are also honoring Robert M. Mardi Gras Ball in March The Mardi Gras Ball, sponsored by the Little Jim Club, is the oldest ball in San Francisco and always benefits CPMC pediatric programs. For tickets and information, contact Courtney Joglekar (415) 600-4442.

Glitter Ball in April Proceeds from this year's Glitter Ball will benefit the Forbes Norris MDA/ALS Research Center. Honoring outstanding physicians
Wishes for Wellness 2007, held in April, honored four CPMC physicians: Dr. William Andereck, Dr. Lisa Dana, Dr. Martin Ernster, and Dr. Fung Lam. All proceeds from the event --over $640,000-- will fund items on a "Wish list" compiled by the four doctors. Read more!
